I currently have a T41 with XP. I've just downloaded all the FC2 ISO images and am about to install FC2 on my machine. I have two questions. The first one is, where can I find installation instructions for FC2? Are they essentially the same as RH 9? My second question is a specific install question. I have a singe hard drive and would have to partition the C drive to make room for Fedora, but I am not sure if I should manually partition it myself or if Fedora comes with a partition tool which kicks in during the installation process like RH 9.. Thanks in advance.

If XP currently occupies the entire harddisk and the filesystem is NTFS, you may need to go in for a reinstall. There are tools that let you shrink an NTFS partition .. sorry don't have any on the top of my mind.

If you don't mind starting from scratch, Install XP first, leaving desired diskspace for Linux installation.

Next install Fedora. That should make life easier and away from MBR mess-ups. Of course mess ups can be resolved. You can let Fedora partition the disk for you.

Yes, the installation is no different from RedHat 9.
