Installing FC5-i386 Hanging up

Running Install from DVD FC5-i386 onto new computer.
Getting to "Loading SCSI driver" Loading usb-storage driver and fedora install hangs at that
point and won't go any further in install.

Found out why install hangs.
This new computer has a card(s) reader built in, I disconnected card reader and anaconda proceeds with install.
After I get the box installed I will hook card reader back up to motherboard.
has anyone ever seen this problem before.

Jim
