Installing extra Multimedia plugins


hi all,

what extra plugins do i need to install, for totem to play MPEG-4 content..?? like (mpeg, divx, avi, etc.)

the link provides info. only on playing mp3s, which are already working fine.!!

Maybe this article will provide better info. You could install totem-xine from livna and then follow the directions in the article for installing win32 codecs and supporting video/audio using totem-xine.

hi

thanx for the help. i am using totem with GStreamer.
Found some plugins on the GStreamer website that solved the issue.

1. gstreamer-plugins-bad
2. gstreamer-ffmpeg
