You probably need to disable secure boot.

On a HP Windows 10 PC I have disable secure boot.

I'm trying to install Fedora-26-KDE.
I can run a Fedora 26 Live DVD, but when I create three Custome Standard Partitions, I get a Error message:

"No valid boot loader target device found, See below for details."

For a UEFI installation, you must include an EFI System Partition on a GPT-Formatted disk mounted at /boot/EFI.

How do I fix this problem, and where do I goto to fix it.

This is the first Windows 10 , Secure Boot Computer I have ever installed Fedora/Linux on.

Simply select the Windows EFI partition (probably FAT32) and select EFI as the mount option when you define the Linux partitions. Fedora will create a directory for itself to install the UEFI grub code. Later it will and add it to the NVRAM for Fedora.

Thanks Syg00, But, where do you select the EFI partition from, in the Fedora partition setup ?

I have found the File System in Fedora 26 Installation window.

I'm creating a Custom Partitioning for:
/
/home
Swap

My /home partition has data on it I don't want to lose, Fedora won't let me select EFI unless I format /home .

I Was able to select EFI for / because I will format it.

This is the first time I have had to select EFI in all the Fedora installs I have made on other computers.

These Window 10 computers sure do create a big problems for Fedora Installs

Fedora normally installs just fine.
Does the machine actually have Win10 installed on it ?. Was Win10 installed at time of purchase, or as an upgrade ?. From the Fedora liveCD open a terminal and run
Code:
lsblk -f
Post the output.

Code tags make output readable.
OK, so you've deleted Win10 - you need to make these things known.

Create another partition, make it FAT32, and assign it as EFI. Give it a Gig just to be safe. Then the install should proceed.

Well I got the 1gb Fat32 EFI Partition installed on hard drive. Reconnected Windows 10 hard drive.

When Boot up it will still want to go to Windows10 to login.

Is there a possibilty that I have to reinstall Fedora to get it to to select the MBR.

The hard drive I have installed in the new Windows10 is a setup on another computer, Fedora and Windows7 on separate hard drives on the other 64bit computer.

Installing Fedora 27 .
I can't get the Live-DVD to boot up on DVD/CD drive, it automaticly tries to boot into Windows10.
On the HP Setup I have the following features setup:
Legacy Support -- Enabled
Secure Boot --- Disabled
Fast Boot ---- Disabled

I also have a 1gb fat32 EFI partition set up on Fedora/Linux hard drive and Windows10 is installed on a separate hard drive .
