Hi there,
i had trouble in installing Linux in my machine. I have 80Gb SATA hard disk, Intel D101GGC mother board. While installing i get an error message saying "No hard drive Found". I tried to select some driver from the list. But no luck. Same is the case with redhat, Centos, Fedora distros. Any suggestions?

The distributions probably have no driver for your SATA controller. It is possible, I have faced that situation a few times. Your options are, as long as your installer lets you use external driver disk, to either find a (Linux-compatible) driver for the SATA controller or use some other harddisk. Usually if the installer has a working driver, no error message is shown, so in your case you'll need to find the driver yourself if you wish to continue; check out the website of the manufacturer, send e-mail to them and ask for a driver or instructions, search the web desperately, ...
