Install the DVD image from USB

Hello!

I was wondering if the dd image method of installing fedora to a USB drive is (still?) regarded as best?

Previous attempts with unetbootin have failed and for 13, I had to resort to using dd. This worked perfectly but of course, I would like to know about other, better options if they exist.

Why not use the fedora provided tool ?

I am not sure how there can be a better solution than a perfectly working one.

hmm

strange the unetbootin fails. i have used id ever since the usb creator faild me in about 50% of the cases.

DD has started not booting, Unetbootin fails me and the LiveUSB creator does not appear to handle the DVD image.

I just went for the LiveCD on CDR and spent a lot of time with YUM

It's all good!
