Install FC5-i386 on a AMD64, but fail to boot.


Hi All,

I successfully installed FC5-i386 on a AMD64, but the system freezes when booting at "checking hardware.."

If you have a 64 bit processor, you want the version built for the x86_64 arcitechture. Dunno if this is for sure your problem, but it would be where I'd start.
