I installed linux and when I install dependences the window for FC CDs appears and I insert the CD into the drive from which it was installed, but it does not read the CD. Is there anyway for me to change the default path where the CD is located?
Presumably you're using yum to do the updates. (If not, what are you using?)
If so, look in /etc/yum.conf, /etc/yum.profiles.conf, and /etc/yum.repos.d/* to see which repositories are pointed to your (old) CD drive, and change them as needed.
You might also want to consider that your CDs may not contain the most up-to-date versions of the programs you're using, and that changing to do your updates from the Internet repositories might be more prudent.
Oh, if you're using up2date, don't. Just try a sudo yum upgrade to get the most current versions of the programs you've installed from the Internet. (Read info sudoers for how to set youself up to use the sudo command, and info yum for a description of the yum coommand.) Consider doing a sudo yum install yumex to install a nice GUI for yum.

If I download an RPM file and it needs dependencies it will ask me to insert the Fedora CD #XX, and it will not recognize the CD, so Fedora will not automatically download the Dependencies.

Yes, I did understand that you'd said that.
So, did you look in your yum profile(s), and change then so they no longer reference you CD drive? The point is that what's on the CD may be quite old, and thus may not be what's needed by the RPM you downloaded.
