inspiron 8600 display issue

this is my monitor.
my monitor
I have been unable to find the following information:
(1) make and model
(2) horizontal scanning frequency
(3) vertical scanning frequency
my service with dell has expired, and i'm unable to find anything further then the link above on this monitor.
does anyone have an idea how i can find these details?
it is the lcd screen for an inspiron 8600.
i'm assuming it is pnp, but when i installed a new version of fedoracore3 it didn 't audo-detect the monitor. now i'm afraid to use a scanning frequency it does not support, and which according to my readings could destroy the monitor.

Do you have the NVIDIA GeForce FX video in I8600?
I have the same laptop w/Nvidia and in /etc/xorg.conf in
the Section "Device" Driver is "nv" which is the fedora3
supplied driver.
