HI,

I have Fedora core - 3 in my laptop along with Windows XP(dual boot).
When I installed the linux I have allocated some 15 GB to it and
remaining I gave it to windows.

Now I am running out of space in linux and hence I cleared two
of my windows partition (D: and E: ) and want to add it to the linux.
Can any one tell me how I can do this.

I googled and found an article to increase the logical volume by "lvextend"
command but only then I found out that I dont have any logical partition/volume.

Any directions will be helpful.

I'm a newb myself, but in my research to install a new disk and transfer my FC3 install to it, I came across a bunch of stuff in this area. Among them is QTparted (http://qtparted.sourceforge.net/faq.en.html) and a whole series of partition tools on the Ultimate Boot CD (http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/). You might want to check these out as a possible solution to your problem. Good luck!
