Impact of using RHEL5 Kernel with Fedora 10?
I have Fedora 10 installed on my server and I'm running qemu-kvm virtual machines. My Oracle Enterprise Linux virtual machine is extremely unstable, and even worse if I add more than one CPU.
I need fedora 10 for the main server for various software reasons. So I was looking at OpenVZ since xen is impossible with F10. But noticed that OpenVZ needs a "special" kernel.
So my question, what would the impact be if I ran the OpenVZ RHEL5 kernel instead of the F10 kernel?
