ImageMagick Install ?'s

Hello guys,
I am a complete noob when it comes to this stuff so please bear with me.
I am trying to install ImageMagick on my webserver.
I am following instructions located here:

http://www.imagemagick.org/script/install-source.php

But none of it makes sense to me.
(btw I have fedora core 4)

Can somebody point me in the right direction?
Thanks,

Gabe

don't bother.. just run "yum install ImageMagick" and be done with it. infact, it's normally installed as default anyway, are you sure you don't already have it?

Thanks for the quick reply.
I asked if it came pre-installed and they said no.

So I typed in "yum install ImageMagick" and a whole lot of text showed up on the screen.
How do I check to see what the path of ImageMagick is?
(Fyi, I have plesk installed)

you don't need to know what the path is, all teh tools and such will be installed on your path. i guess if you mean this is for some web hosting backend image processing function, then just do a "which convert" or whatever tool, or run "rpm -ql ImageMagick"

Yeah this is for a script I am running.
So I just type in "which convert" in the command line?
After doing this it says:

/usr/bin/which: no convert in (//bin:/usr/local/bin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/home/virtualded/bin)

When i type in "rpm -ql ImageMagick" it says:

package ImageMagick is not installed

Any ideas?
I guess I didnt install it properly. I will try again.

well of course "a whole lot of text showed up on the screen" is a long long way short of useful, wouldn't you agree? helps if you actually show us what it says etc... ImageMagick will also be on your originaly fedora cd's too if you just install it directly from there.

Maybe I should provide a bit of background info here.
I have a virtual dedicated server from Godaddy.com I only have SSH access to the server. I dont have any CD's nor am I anywhere near the box.

Screen Shot Of The Command Line Here

Hopefully this will be enough info.

ok, your gpg key's appear to be screwed. either ignore the key's by modifying the relevant repo file in /etc/yum.repos.d/, or the more correct way would be to reinstall the fedora yum rpm which will add the default keys for you.

hi digitalninja42

This is the same question i had and i see that again a thread that has no answer,
The exact answer is pass to Windows 2003, use apache under Windows and install imagemagick .exe easy setup file. That is all you have to do.

Similar argue was here with the solution, have a look at it.
