I changed the resolution and now Gnome crashes
I have the nVidia drivers installed, and from the menu I changed the resolution, now Gnome crashes instantly. I am assuming I just have to reset the values to their original resolution but I am not sure where to do that, I did get it booted into a command prompt though.
If anyone can tell me where the file is I need to config that would be a huge help. Thanks. |
The file you need to change is /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
Near the bottom will be a lists of resolutions. Make sure the first in the list is the highest, and the resolution your system does work with. |
Also make sure you have the right monitor and video card selected in redhat->System Settings->Display->Hardware.
