Hi,

I installed Wine-20040813-7rh9winehq on Fedora 2 and everythings works fine. I could open Photoshop 7 for some minutes

Then i installed a winetools versions than was not exactly for this Wine version and then i cannot load wine anymore.

I make a rpm -qa | grep wine and i see this:

wine-20040813-7rh9winehq

So.. i tried to uninstall it rpm -e wine-20040813-7rh9winehq but i have this error message in console:

error reading information on service wine: No such file or directory
error: %preun(wine-20040813-1rh9winehq) scriptled failed, exit status 1

Any ideas?

try this: su
yum remove wine

It doesn't work.

I have the same error too.

Try using --force
