That is a i486 rpm. You need a x86-64 rpm

In kubuntu, adept can install the 64-bit package for the amd 64-bit arch. Anyway why do you need acrobat reader?

Install evince, kpdf, xpdf, update pango with yum ...then still you will have some more deps. Are you sure the i486 rpm will get installed?

Aarghh..oooopssss !!!! mistake !!! i didn't see it was for i386 instead than for the amd 64 !

I have already all the programs you said..the only thing making me moving to adobe reader was that i wanted to see if it could handle well any e-books,i could'n t see some e-books with a particular extension (.lit) but i have already asked somewhere else in the forum and i've got the answer, now i can see them too.

thank for your time...and be patient for my mistake
