Hardware SCSI RAID5 on Fedora Core 3/4

Hi everyone,

I am installing FC3 on the PC with 4 prosessors and 3 SCSI disks.
I want to make the hardware scsi raid5, but it seems to be so difficult to me.
I have the Array1000 SCSI adapter with RAID0/1/5 support.

I have used the RAID boot disk to make the Array (RAID5 with 3 scsi disks) and the I have initialize the Array.

I reset the computer and then boot from the FC3 DVD. But I just can make the sofware RAID5 with the Disk Druid.

Please, can anybody tell me what I have to do to make the hardware SCSI RAID5 sussesfully.

Thankz...

Ok, so here's the list of questions...
1. You have bought a hardware raid controller. (Adaptec)
You have created the RAID array and initiallised it.
So now when you boot the FC3 installer does not recognise your PCI card RAID controller so wants to just use Disk Druid to create software raid.

Ok, does disk druid see all three disks, or is it only seeing one?

2. Adaptec raid controllers often need specific modules loaded at install time.
Did you load any at the install prompt?
(The module you most probably need is aic7xxx)
