How to use another language as default?
 

At the time of installation I installed the default language 'English USA' and that is the only language I have installed. Now I want to install another language and want to make it default. How can I do this?

Are you using KDE or GNOME.

Both are installed in my system and I use both also, :).

For KDE, there are kde language packs in a package called kde-i8ln, make sure you install the language you want to use and then select it as the default in the KDE control center. I am not sure how to do this in GNOME though, so myabe others can help or do a google search.

I could not find kde-i8ln. I use Fedora 3. May you tell me how do I proceed with installing kde-i8ln. Please help me.

If you can't find them, the best thing to do is go to the KDE website. Go to downloads of the "stable" release. Select an ftp mirror, then select "stable" when pointed to the ftp mirror, choose your KDE version, go to the "noarch" directory" and download the language of your choice.
