How to setup mail server on fedora core 3..

Hi all !
I have to setup a mail server on fedora core 3. Actually i m a student and i have to setup this mail server for mailing on institutes local intranet. I m a and even dont know abc of mail server. But still i have to do it. So can anyone help me by sending some links where i can get a step by step procedure to setup the mail server. I preferably want to use

Qmail or Postfix (as MTA)
IMAP (mail server) and
squirrelmail (MUI)

Please reply asap.
