How to set/adjust Scan Range in Fedora 3?
 

It is able to set/adjust monitor's Scan Range in RH and Fedora 2.
But can't find it in Fedora 3.

Anyone know it, plz tell me.

in Preferences you should have > Display Resolution

If not see if you have the command gnome-display-properties or system-config-display


If you don't have gnom-display-properties then you should probably install it.

Well, i choosed "Install everything" when i install Fedora 3.

And i do know how to set/adjust it in Red Hat and Fedora 2.

But i really can find it in "Application" -> "System Setting" -> "Display", there are 3 tabs in "Display Setting" window: "Setting", "Hardware" and "Dual Head". And none of them are able to set/adjust Scan Range.

Also i tried the way you said: "Application" -> "Preferences" -> "Screen Resolution", and there are only 2 things can be adjust. They are "Resolution" and "Refresh rate".

Once you've configured the device(s) with that tool there is the gnome tool that does have the scan freq if your display supports it. It depends on your configuration. If your setup is supported then you can change the resolution without restarting X. It must support the XRandR extension.

The rpm is available in the RHEL AS Beta on ftp.redhat.com if you can't find it.
