How to prevent Yum/Yumex/Kyum from removing old kernel??
Hi Fellas
Say we got 2 kernels 'A' and 'B' and when i update to the latest kernel kernel 'C' using Yum/Yumex/Kyum, kernel 'A' is removed and 'B' and 'C' are left to boot. How do i retain or stop 'A' from getting removed? Thanks Cheers:) |
Edit the file /etc/yum/pluginconf.d/installonlyn.conf and adjust the line starting by "tokeep" to the number of kernel (including current) you want to keep in your boot partition.
