How to install yum in fedora 8

Hi all members of inuxquestion.org I have a problem can u people solve this ,can any body tell me how to configure yum in fedora 8 the complete steps please its very urgent

Not urgent, you probably just forgot changing the URL,
when the old Fedora 8 was obsoleted 15 months ago, and
moved to the 'old archive'.

A new file, /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora8archive.repo
can look like this for i386 :
