Oracle has a gui installer which will guide you through the installation. Please try installing and let us know if you run into any issues. We like to help others with problems and not provide them with guides. Thanks arshad_y3k

If there is an issue you may want to consider using Centos instead of Fedora. Centos is RHEL with the logos removed. It is free to download and update. It also has a five year support life as opposed to Fedoras one year support life. The current release of Centos is 5.1 and I am sure someone has used oracle apps 11iand Toad on RHEL5.1.

Excellent suggestion if he is looking for stability and a long term support cycle. Fedora is more cutting edge with a 2 release support cycle. Not recommended for running something with high availability like Oracle. We run a mixture at my company and are slowing migrating everything to CentOS 5.1
