how to enable Graphical boot in Fedora 11 ?
Hi !
I do a fresh install of Fedora 11. I am not getting the graphical boot, just a progress bar on botton and then, the graphical login screen (GDM). How to enable the graphical boot (Plymouth) ? The boot line already has "rhgb" on it: Code:
ro root=/dev/mapper/vg-lv_root rhgb quiet I have several plymouth related packages installed by default Code:
plymouth-theme-charge-0.7.0-0.2009.05.15.1.fc11.x86_64 |

Hi amani !
Thanks, but that doesn't work (at least for me). I still have a progress bar at boot time. Anyone else is having problem with the graphical boot ? |

YES !
vga= is what was missing ! Thank you ! BTW: for me, vga=838 works best. |
Here is a little help for everyone to find the vga resolution for its screen and change the plymouth theme.
