how to disable selinux?

Hi!
I run FC6 and I have problems running some scripts because of some TE rules. I changed a few times the policiers but I still get messages. I would like to try once without any selinux to see if it works. how may I disable this?

thanks.

Hi.

I think in System -> Administration -> Security Level & Firewall you can disable it.
