How to control sound in fedora core 5 ?

HI
I have installed Fedora core 5 in my Dell 820 Laptop. The kernel I am using is : 2.6.17-1.2139_FC5smp

Sound card is working fine but I can't figure out how I can control the sound (the volume level)?

DO anybody has any idea ?

on the top right hand corner there is a small button in the shape of a speaker, click on that and change volume level.

if you dont see the speaker by the clock you may need to open the mixer first. after using my mixer the first time it asked me if i wanted to keep in active down below.
