How to add user with admin rights or root previliges?
hi,
how can i add a user in fedora that has a root privileges or admin rights? and what or how i will do the prompting for a change of password in the first use of their account?
You can change a user's password by using the passwd command. Regarding adding a root user, you would be wiser to either use su root when you want to perform root actions or alternatively grant root priviledges to a user for certain tasks. You do this by first editing the sudoers file to grant root permissions to a particular user for certain actions and then you would use the sudo command as that user to perform root actions.
