How do i use fstab-sync

Im using fedora core 3 , and i nee dto edit the fstab file, i cannot figure out how to do this, can any one show me an example, i have searched google....

I would use tha man page but it does not come up, im having a few problems with booting????

Is there no way to edit the fstab file?anyone?

If you're having problems booting, what is happening exactly?
You could use Fedora rescue enviroment and use vi or vim to edit fstab
vi /etc/fstab
