how do I pass special parameters to the kernel at startup?

Hi all!

I'm just wondering how I pass special parameters to the kernel at startup?
I have a raid array and need to pass hde=noprobe, hdf=noprobe to the kernel when the computer boots. I know you can do this when you install fedora but I don't want to reinstall!

Thanks!

You need to edit your bootloader config files. Exactly what you do depends on your bootloader. Try taking a look at it's man page.

I think it will be in:
man grub.conf

Just add the commands to the end of the kernel line in grub.conf and thats it.
