how do I make extended partitions in fedora core?

Hey everyone. how do i create extended partitions in Fedora core's partitioning software? I want to install all of my Linux partition as an extended partition. I want swap, / /usr /home etc to be all extended. How do i go about doing this? I cannot find any way on the actual installation program. Any suggestions?

If you have a blank hdd boot with system rescue but do not chroot, fdisk and using the help menue "m" create a primary partition of say 1/3 the disk "fat" and then create extended partition for the rest and then do an install with the custom partition option and create / /home /swap all in the extended partition area and that will leave the primary partition for storage or another os. Give it a try.
