[SOLVED] How do I change my user password?

I have installed Fedora 26 and created 1 user.

I now want to change that user's password.

I noticed that if I go to Preferences and Account Details, I can change the password. I must enter the current password and the new password (twice). However, it constantly complains that the current password is incorrect - and will not allow me to proceed.
