How can I downgrade FC2 grub to FC1 or RedHat9

Hi..
I'm having trouble dual booting XP and FC2. I didn't have any problem when I was using RedHat 9. I would like to know how to downgrade FC2 grub to Red Hat9 or FC1( FC1 doesn't have dual boot problem right?) ?
I try to uninstall grub by installing lilo but it wasn't successful. Could anyone please teach me how to do this? Thank you so much for reading my question.

As far as I know the dual boot problem between FC2 an XP isn't related to GRUB, but to the disk management bla bla (I remember something about LBA mode in the BIOS...)
