Help with building FC2 kernel (Installing AVG)
Hello all! This is a new territory for me, but I am determined to forge ahead with your help. I have a machine running FC2; the kernel it came with is linux-2.6.5-1.358. When I type "uname -r" I get 2.6.10-1.771_FC2. My end goal here is to install AVG anti-virus software which requires the Dazuko module to be built into the kernel. Now when looking at some of the manuals they tell me to look for the info in /usr/src/. What I find there is the kernel stuff relating to the 2.6.5 kernel. So I am confused. Can anyone enlighten me on the proper location of the kernel that I am running or how one should go about doing what I need to do? Thanks in adavance!
