Help: USB device not working

Here is the error on the bootup screen

usb 1-3: device descriptor read/64, error -110

Neither USB mouse or keyboard could work. P/S 2 keyboard works but not P/S 2 mouse.

Am I missing a driver?

Thanks!

What driver do you mean Before Linux is loading my keybord is already working I knew it because I use it to enter my BIOS
set up both keybord and mouse are USB devices . When I do so the you BIOS message show me that the mouse is there to.
So I suggest check BIOS settings

all the best
