help to restore my user account in evolution


fedora core 6,gnome and evolution 2.8 I get in bigs issues to restore in a simple way my previous user account (previously account under fc6) in evolution (mail,tasks and calendar).
I've made a complete copy of my home user on a cd.
how can we proceed ?

It has been almost a year sense I used Evolution in a production mode but now that I am back on linux (Fedora Core 6 atm) I will be slowly migrating my 3GB of PST data back to Evolution. My Linux Laptop died so I don't have full abilities to test below:

That as a preface: The definitions for evolution are in gconf and so if you backed up your home directory and included .gconf then you should have captured all nessisary account definitions. HOW to restore them... I would think would be as simple as replacing that directory stucture (if memory serves .gconf/evolution)

I will post more as I begin my migration.

PS: I would also lurk the evolution user group. It was very active when I participated and their are some good resources their in their FAQ

I could not restore my account in this way, and I also tested by restoring the totality of the specific files to this user but I could not succeed
