Help to configure PCTEL modem in fedora
 
I have a PCTEL HSP56 modem that works fine in windowsXP and 98
but it doesn't configure in Fedora. I have the modem drivers but on configuring they show error that it is configured on a gcc-2 compiler and cannot run on gcc-3 compiler. Can anyone help me.

u need to get the latest drivers for this modem

have alook at linmodems.org and also the HCL list here at LQ!!
