Help Me!! PS/2 Mouse and Keyboard problem
I recently installed Fedora Core 1.
I configured the mouse as a 2 button PS/2 mouse, and the keyboard as a standard US english keyboard (PS/2). Then when fedora started up for the first time, it initialized both as USB devices, and neither worked. I rebooted and the same thing happened, so i reinstalled and and did the same configuartion, i thought maybe i had made a mistake on the first install, but it happened again. So, i borrowed a USB keyboard and mouse from another computer and reconfigured the keyboard and mouse as root. After i reconfigured, the PS/2 keyboard and mouse started working. Then, the next time i rebooted, they stopped working, so i rebooted and they started working again. Now, i have to let fedora boot once without working keyboard and mouse, then do a hard shut down, and then turn it back on, and fedora recognizes both devices and they both work, but only on the second boot. Is there anyway i can fix this, its really annoying, i just want it to see and use my PS/2 keyboard/mouse everytime i boot. Please post a fix or email me one at leehop@comcast.net. I also have an AOL screen name, leebob1187. Please help me. :newbie: |

ps2 mouse and keyboard
Does this happen just in X windows or in all terminals e.g. Ctrl - Alt - F1 ???

was you r mouse and keyboard working on install. USB is not PS/2. Do you have your keyboard pluggrd into your pc 's USB port and the mouse into the Keyboard? List your config file.
