Having to run K3B as SU in FC5

I have a FC5 i386, X86_64 boxes that won't write cd's as User, you open K3B but when you try to write cd K3B comes up with Error, Listed below. Using Plextor PX716A burners
But I have a Dell laptop with FC5 installed and it will permit K3b to Burn Cd's as user.
From what I can see is that "cdrecord" doesn't have permission to run burn. What would I have to do in this case.

There is a k3b setup utility which you run as root. It's designed to overcome problems like this. To run k3b as root just run 'kdesu k3b'.
