Google Earth not working? - Fedora 11 x86 64-bit

Hello, person!

I'm having a problem getting "Google Earth" to work on Linux.
I downloaded it from Google's site (using: wget http://dl.google.com/earth/client/cu...EarthLinux.bin).

I then tried, uncompressing the binary file (sh GoogleEarthLinux.bin), and all of a sudden:

Quote:
/setup.sh: setup.data/bin/Linux/amd64/setup.gtk2: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: bad ELF interpreter: No such file or directory
This occurs!

I googled what's in quotes and apparently a lot of people have (had?) the same issue, and I don't know if there's a solution out there, or if anybody has a way to get it to work and just never posted it on any popular forums (because I couldn't find it on a quick search of Google).

If anybody has a solution, please share.

Thanks.

Hi.

Google Earth is looking for 32bit libraries. Do:
# yum provides /lib/ld-linux.so.2
to find out what package provides the file, and just 'yum install' the package. In this case it's glibc-2.10.1-5.i686 you want.

Once that's done, try Google Earth again, and see what missing file it complains about next. Then do the same thing for that file.
