GNOME 2.16.3 - and menu shortcuts

Hi,

I built GARNOME 2.16.3 --> and also built many of the non-mandatory build projects. Things seem to have come up well. (I am on Fedora 6)

Had a couple of queries.
a) openOffice icons seem to have disappeared.
Not just that, on right click in nautilus, I do not find their filetype associations anywhere. Removed openOffice 2.0.4, reinstalled, tried with 2.1 but in all cases, this did not get rectified.

Similar issue for other things - like .rpm associations.
This got changed to archiver instead of the installer.

b) Many of my older application icons (say amarok, stellarium, yumex etc.) which were in the existing GNOME menu tree) were not copied over. Is it that the GARNOME setup creates a smaller menu tree mapping specifically to the binaries it built?

Is there a quick way of moving these from the older menu tree?
