gksu or alternative for fedora 6?

I want to add some things to the gnome menu, such nautilus as root as well as an edit as root nautilus script but gksu isn't installed and I can't find it in the repos or anything that seems to do the same.
How is it done in fedora 6?
I know I can set the command as sudo nautilus and set it to run in terminal but that looks a bit crappy.

Hi shame,

Freshrpms used to build this however

http://ftp.freshrpms.net/pub/dag/dri...gksu/fc6-i386/

currently indicates a failed build status - seems to be missing a dependency. You could ping Matthias and ask him to nudge it into life....?

I ended up installing the fedora 5 version of gksu libgksu and libgksuui and they all installed without errors but when I try to run gksu it says
Code:

Failed to run gedit as user root:
The gksu-run-helper command was not found or is not executable.

.
If I run gksudo it says
Code:

sudo: sorry, you must have a tty to run sudo
Though I can run graphical apps fine when run in terminal.
gksuexec doesn't do what I'm looking for.
