Giving Unallocated space to /home


FC11, Using Gparted
I have 5gb unallocated space that I want to give to /home , how would I do it , (Detail Please)

Below is how my partitions are laid out below;

sda1 /boot
sda2 /home
sda3 /
unallocated 5gb
sda4 extended
sda5 swap

You can try from a GParted Live CD to "move" / back to the end of the 5GB space. Then you can "grow" /home. The problem is that /home has to be contiguous space (unless you want to assign the 5GB to a particular user like /home/joe). I haven't tried moving filesystems, but I have had great success with the "grow" function of GParted. So you probably want a good backup before you try it.

IIRC, move and grow are filesystem type dependent.

I made the move of / and 'unallocated' is after /home.
How do you do a 'grow' in /home in Gparted ? , do you have to do that with fdisk ?
