getting past filesystem repair
Hi, I was just fooling around with Fedora Core4 on an old system. I don't know this particular version of Linux well and it has me going in a pointless and irritating loop. There is an extra, non-essential, hard drive that I mislabeled a partition for in fstab on and now keep sticking me in read only repair file system on boot claiming there is a disk problem. But it won't let me change any files or do anything to tell it to ignore this non-existant problem. For some reason it won't even let me enter interactive mode on startup to try and skip this process.
What is the best way around this? How can I get out of read-only and edit the fstab?
