Can anyone help me w/ this? It's a little on the mundane side, but, it's driving me nuts!!
I'm using FC3 and have Gaim v1.3.0 installed. The IM sounds work when I'm logged in as root, but not as a normal user. The sounds in KDE work and I can listen to music - but the d*mn IM sounds don't work!! What gives?
In the settings, in the control panel, I enabled the sound system and disabled the auto suspend. Goofy settings..lol. Anyways, the sound works now. Thx for reading and replying.
