Font Size out of wack

Hey Guys,

I am running Fedora/GDM on VMWare and I am finding that the font size got out of wack once I changed the resolution of the screen (I think this is when it happened). However, when I change the resolution back, it does not get fixed. The font sizes look perfectly reasonable if I go to System >> Preferences >> Look and Feel >> Appearence; they are all 10 pt. I am assuming that there is some conflict between the X11 settings and GDM. During the initial display of the desktop, the font sizes are fine. However they change a few seconds later to be enormous.

Thanks for the help!

I tried changing the line

Xft.dpi: 96 in the file Xresources

this seems to have an effect on the font sizes for the few seconds before they are massively resized. Therefore, I am assuming it has something to do with the GDM settings. Still lost, so all help is welcome.
