Do you mean why not install Google Chrome Browser?

moises 01-03-2013 04:35 PM

^^^ I mean, why not just use Chrome and ditch FF? I have had no problem using Chrome. All but one website has worked for me in Chrome. The only thing seems strange to me is my computer gets hotter when using it over FF.

It's a matter of preference.

I prefer to use Mozilla Firefox or Midori in which the Linux Developers set to be the default browser('s) for Fedora.

Ztcoracat,

Thanks for answering. Am at work now so I can't try Midori, but since I posted on this thread the first time I moved to Slackware. So far so good, but now am interested on tryin this "new" browser. Looked it up and found some youtube video that showed what it looks like. I would assume I need to install flash for it to work on youtube as with FF. Is that correct?

Yeah you'll most likely need flash and the flash-plugin.
