first day with linux few questions (fedora)

hi i have installed fedora linux for the first time, when it booted it looked great,
but after few moments i decided to personalise it a little, and i have crashed into bunch of problems (dont remember such thing in my windows ;) it must have been long ago).

please somebody answer, i really saw a couple of guides, but it didnt help...

1. how do i mount my ntfs partitions into linux. i have heard, that fedora doesnt support it from the beggining and i have to install something. i also heard that there is a program, that allows even writing to ntfs without problem now. is there any way to get it???

2. somehow relates to the first, i would like to get opera web browser to my linux, but i dont know how. i know about some repositories ( i saw it in ubuntu) but i dont know how will i access to them ( i tried add/remove programs which doesnt work)

3. is there any driver for my logitech mx610 mouse???
i am addicted to those buttons :(

4. how can i edit grub.conf file, i want to set up windows as a default boot OS, but i can not edit that file, ive tried to log in as root in terminal, but it doesnt work

thanx very much
