firefox update problems
Until updated with yum install firefox on fc5 to the latest version, firefox that came with the fc5 dvd worked fine. And post updation by yum install firefox, the sites gmail.com & https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/ didnot open.
However, after downloading the latest software version from firefox website (http://www.mozilla.com/products/down...in&lang=en-US) and pointing the program start button to firefox in the extracted directory or running by ./firefox through that directory, the problem was solved. However, on Windows firefox worked fine. |
firefox update problem
Hi,
I ran into the same problems when only updating firefox with yum. If you update the package nss first # yum update nss and then firefox # yum update firefox it works. Obviously here are some package dependencies not correctly implemented. Have fun.:) |
