firefox takes ages to start if I am offline


hi all,
I am using fedora 8
When I am offline and click on any of the saved html pages, firefox takes ages to get started.
I have tried clicking on the offline check box but still the result is same.
any help is welcome

Hello,

I'm not sure, but the delay may be caused by plugins/addons that you have. Try to disable them.

hi
did u mean Tools -> Add-ons.
It only has a DOM Inspector, which I shall try disabling.
