I have been using RedHat ES3 for the past year and recently switched to
Fedora Core 4. I took all the defaults during the install, to include setting up
the partitions and filesystems. It now looks like I am out of disk space as I cannot even do security updates, nor login with GUI. Here is what my filesystems look like when doing a "df":

I can't get this to line up properly when I do "preview"....

What the heck is that VolGroup that is using all the space?
What the heck is that shm that is using nothing?

Sorry to sound so dumb, but I'm used to seeing filesystems like
/
/root
/home
/usr

Is there anyway of moving the space around without repartitioning and reloading the software?

it appears that your / (which is on a logical volume, don't worry about that) has 8.5 or so gigs (usually the size of "hda2" or something like that minus the swap) and is full
