File Sharing in FC4
 

hey gang,

Trying out Fedora Core 4 now and trying to get it to detect my Windows and other Linux shares on my network.. My internet connection is working perfectly, its just the file sharing that isnt working..

When I go to computer/network/windows network.. nothing comes up.. that screen is completely blank. I've so far been used to using Samba to handle all this but FC4 looks like it uses Nautilus(dont hold me to that exact spelling plz :P) which I'm unfamaliar with..

any networking savy people mind giving me a hand?

nautilus is nothing more than an M$ explorer clone. Samba is still doing exactly the same job it always has been underneath it all.
